back to school

At the end of each summer, many teachers have a feeling of dread as we face a new group of kids whose education depends on us. This year, my fourth year as a teacher, is the first year I don't have that feeling. I went up to the school early to work on my classroom, I am teaching the same content area for the 2nd year in a row and I know what I'm doing. It is soooooo nice to feel this way. Now we'll see how I feel after the first week with students. I decided to try to decorate my room kinda cute this year too. I'm going with a vintage/retro theme...we'll see how it turns out...
