School Day 1

It was the first day back to school for the kids today!! I was so glad to see them! I really love seeing kids I had in the years prior b/c they change so much just over the summer. I got a lot of hugs and hellos - which for me, makes it all worthwhile! I did a little group activity where they have to come up with an item in a category that starts with a particular letter. The best one I got today was a restaurant that starts with H...Hunan Dynasty? Nope. Hooters? Yep. I tried not to react too much to it...maybe they don't know what hooters are yet? Like the owl with the big bulging eyes doesn't give it away??? Well, they are just 6th graders...
