There's an antique auction house very close to our house that gets me (and my mom) into serious trouble. A lot of the stuff is picked over and slightly damaged but I've gotten several items there for super cheap. And I LOVE a bargain! (It's like gambling but you win every time!) The first time I bought an imcomplete set of china with several good platters and a soup tureen and a great framed print of a brownstone (now hanging the the bedroom- see previous post). This last weekend I left with a pair of foo dogs, a small table and a HUGE mirror w/ a beveled frame. Here's the pic of the table. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it when I bought it, but I had to have it. Right now I have it in our study right by the windows. Sort of a bistro-ish set-up. I like it there. I might use it for crafts, reading, coffee, etc. Last night I actually used it to address invitations. 
Now I've got to figure out what to do with that gargantuan mirror. It was stuck to the wall with some sort of adhesive in its previous home so I'm not sure how I am going to be able to hang it in mine. TBD.

Can't wait to see pictures of all your goodies... especially foo dogs!
Also, I don't know what's going on with my blog roll. I removed Keen Kelly's and then added it again, and it still won't refresh. I'm taking it off for today and then going to put it back up tomorrow to see if that gets it going. We'll see.
